Apple Hardware-Retail Stores-Apple Store-Imacs-Ipads

Apple lets kids play with iPads rather than iMacs

Apple's retail stores have featured a "kids table" since the first one opened in 2001. It's low to the ground with soft seats and Apple hardware running kid-friendly software. Mike Rose reports that the Grand Central Terminal NYC store opened with iPads in the kid section. Almost one year ago, Apple replaced the in-store product information cards with iPads.
